The Ohio Union Activities Board (OUAB) is a student-run organization that hosts events from concerts to craft nights, with guests from famous comedians to expert lecturers. OUAB allows students to experience diverse programs and events that are educational, entertaining and thought-provoking, all for free as part of their Ohio State experience.

Find the perfect study spot

The Ohio Union is often referred to as the campus “living room.” With fireplaces, cozy couches and a variety of work spaces, the Ohio Union welcomes students and guests to find a spot to focus on their work or relax with friends. Whether you’re part of a student organization in the middle of recruitment season, or a student in desperate need to print their final paper, the Resource Room has everything you need. Located in the Keith B. Key Center for Student Leadership, the Resource Room is a place where students can go for printing, making copies, purchasing balloons, creating buttons, renting supplies and so much more. Supplies can even be paid for with a BuckID!

Learn about Ohio Unions past and present

Celebrate an amazing 150 years of Ohio State by taking a look back at our past. Taking a stroll through the building you can find pieces from previous unions, like the doors from the four Ohio Unions in Ohio State’s history. During the construction of the current Ohio Union, many building materials were salvaged and refinished from the previous union such as: the exterior limestone panels facing 12th Avenue, the wood floor of Woody’s Tavern and the University seal in the Archive M.
