#ICYMI: Homecoming 2019
And just like that, another #HomecomingOSU is in the books! From October 4-5, 2019, Buckeyes past and present came together to celebrate The Ohio State University. From the Parade to our win against Michigan State University, there was so much to do and many ways to show that you’re a #BuckeyeForLife. Here’s a rundown of how we stepped out this year:
Day One: Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally
The first stop for every Homecoming Weekend is the Parade, spearheaded by the Ohio Union Activities Board (OUAB). The floats and participants ranged from student orgs to TBDBITL, and there were many exciting sights to see along the route.
Couldn’t make it to this year’s Parade? Check out our live-stream of the festivities.
Following the Parade (and TBDBITL), Buckeyes headed into the Ohio Union for the Student-Alumni Council’s Pep Rally.
Day Two: Royalty Crowning and the Homecoming Game
Before the first night-game of the season, we followed the 2019 Homecoming Court around campus as they waited patiently to see who would be crowned this year’s King and Queen. We tailgated at the Longaberger Alumni House, headed to the Skull Session and then made our way to The Shoe.
Congratulations to this year’s King and Queen, Thomas Bowles and Raina Rotondo! In addition to new royalty, we took home a win against Michigan State, keeping our perfect season rolling on.
Thanks to the Ohio State alumni, students, friends and community members who helped make this Homecoming one to remember. We can’t wait to see you next year!
