If you’re looking to have fun and branch out to new activities, the Discount Ticket Program (D-Tix) is a great resource for Ohio State students to discover new local Columbus spots, restaurants and attractions on a budget. D-Tix offers discounted tickets at the Ohio Union Information Desk with a valid BuckID. Tickets are offered for special ticketed events, general discounts or group orders.

D-Tix provides a large variety of tickets to suit all interest levels and students have the option to go back to a beloved place of theirs or try something new.

Special ticketed events offer tickets for concerts, sporting events, art shows, theatre productions and more when you register through a lottery system. General discounts allow students to explore restaurants, museums, comedy clubs and more through sales of gift cards and tickets. Group orders are for active student organizations and residence halls to purchase tickets for general discount events and special events.

Students can sign up for up-to-date information on events, ticket releases and other announcements from D-Tix by subscribing to an email alert. Visit the D-Tix website to learn more and subscribe.

The Columbus Live Forward Pledge is another resource for Ohio State students to check out for safe activities. This pledge is an agreement made by businesses to follow federal, state and local health and safety guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are many Columbus attractions, restaurants, shops, lodging, transportation services and venues that have signed the pledge. For more details on safe places to go, check out the Experience Columbus website.

As we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, D-Tix is focused on providing tickets to businesses that are practicing safe physical distancing and health measures. To remain completely safe, students must ensure they are following safe practices themselves including staying six feet away from others, sticking with their pod, wearing a mask and washing hands frequently.
